Century Patchouli Essential Oil

Do you want to smell 100 year old patchouli? We did too! Our "century patchouli" as we call it, is obtained from a small antique bottle of patchouli essential oil, est. 1920-1940.  These antique apothecary bottles, sometimes found at estate sales or antique shops here in New England are a rare discovery, but often they're empty or degraded.  This bottle of patchouli was not only full, but sealed, in perfect condition, carefully stored and expensive. (For reference, base notes such as patchouli age well and are often considered more desirable with age. They tend to get deeper, richer and smoother much like aged scotch.)

This antique patchouli smells very rich, with a smoky back note, like patchouli ash. If you enjoy patchouli, deep base notes, aromas of smoke and leather, this patchouli is a must try.
