Our Maltol powdered natural isolate is extracted from larch tree bark. Maltol possesses the aroma of baked goods, cotton candy, and caramel and is often used as a food additive. Maltol dissolves in ethanol, but sometimes requires 24 hours to dissolve completely (depending on quantity used.). Maltol adds a sweet diffusive quality to fragrances and is often used to boost fruity or edible notes.
